Voigtlander 35mm f1.2 Nokton III – Leica M

The NOKTON 35mm F1.2 Aspherical III VM is an updated model, which features a compactness to enhance maneuverability for rangefinder cameras by keeping the established optical performance from the previous model.

By using the leading-edge optical glasses, with high-performance design method, we made possible the size reduction of the lens by combining both high-level performance and a wide aperture.

In comparison with former model (NOKTON 35mm F1.2 Aspherical II), it is approximately 20% shorter (which is 50.5mm), and it is about 30% lighter (which is 332g). By comparing other interchangeable lenses for mirrorless camera
with the same specifications, it is less than half the length and one third the weight.

By seeking for the ultimate performance, the current existing lenses tend to have many elements. This makes them heavy and bulky. With the Voigtländer VM series, we believe that we can provide rich experience and value for photo-shooting by giving the best balance of practical optical performance and maneuverability.

The NOKTON 35mm F1.2 Aspherical III VM has been re-engineered and technically improved in order to maximize this concept.
